Automate EnergyStar Certification
Measure your building’s total cost of ownership (TCO) with our sensors that monitor your building’s sustainability.
Your benefits simplified:
Consolidation of energy consumption data
Measurable progress in real time
Magnetized energy because the carbon tax calculations are automated by your mobile.
The energy consumption model has to change because you automate your real estate energy consumption.

ENERGYSTAR – Energy Performance Scorecard
What is the ENERGY STAR Score?
ENERGYSTAR Score rates commercial buildings’ energy performance relative to similar buildings nationwide.
Expressed as a number on a simple 1 – 100 scale, the score rates performance on a percentile basis: a building with a score of 50 performs better than 50% of its peers.
Higher scores mean better energy efficiency, resulting in less energy use and fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
ENERGYSTAR – ENERGY STAR progress and goals report
The Progress & Goals Report is a comparison table of building’s energy use, including baseline, current, target, and national median.
ENERGY STAR Progress and Goals Report, available through Portfolio Manager (on the Reports tab).
Create your own Progress and Goals Report to review your building’s energy use (baseline and current) and compare your actual energy use against your target and the national median.
ENERGYSTAR – ENERGY STAR statement of energy performance
The Statement of Energy Performance (SEP) is a one-page report summarizing the energy consumption for a property.
A Verifying Professional can sign and stamp it to verify the validity of the data, if needed. Some state or local governments may require it as part of compliance with benchmarking or other legislation.
Create your own SEP for a one-page summary of your property’s energy consumption, energy use intensity (EUI) information, and 1-100 ENERGY STAR score, when available.
If needed, a verifying professional can sign and stamp the SEP to verify the validity of the data. You do not need to submit an SEP when applying for ENERGY STAR certification, but some localities may require it as part of local legislation.
ENERGYSTAR – ENERGY STAR data verification checklist
The Data Verification Checklist is a version of the application for ENERGY STAR certification, and can be used for non-application purposes.
It consists of the same sections as the application, including an overview of the overall property, the property use details, and energy consumption.
A Verifying Professional can sign and stamp it to verify the validity of the data, if needed.

ENERGYSTAR – ENERGY STAR statement of energy design intent
The Statement of Energy Design Intent (SEDI) is a report that provides an overview of your design metrics, including the predicted ENERGY STAR score for a building that is yet to be constructed.
It is also used for Designed to Earn the ENERGY STAR applications. The SEDI is available from both the Design Tab of Portfolio Manager, and outside of Portfolio Manager in the Target Finder tool.
ENERGYSTAR – application for ENERGY STAR certification
The ENERGY STAR application is the document required when you apply for ENERGY STAR certification.
It consists of an overview of the overall property, the property use details, and energy consumption.
A Verifying Professional needs to sign and stamp the application to verify the validity of the data.
